Dr. Hurst is an expert in Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship with years of clinical and hospital leadership experience. His research is focused on the implementation and adoption of microbiology diagnostics to impact antimicrobial stewardship and clinical outcomes.

Seth Toback, MD
Vice President, Global Medical Affairs at bioMérieux, Inc.

Dr. Toback is currently a Vice President of Global Medical Affairs at working in the field of in vitro diagnostics and disease biomarkers.  He has worked in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology fields for the past 12 years focusing on vaccines and therapeutics against respiratory viruses. He is a board certified Pediatrician with degrees from Carnegie-Mellon, Heinz School of Public Policy and Management, Tufts University School of Medicine and McGill University.
